Rain’s Story

Rain spent 6 months in a crate with little to no food covered in her own urine and feces. Rain was brought to us by a concerned family member who took her from a their neglectful granddaughter. Without A Better Life Pet Rescue, Rain never would have gotten a chance to have a better life. She would have died a horrible death in that cage. She got to us just in time just days before her organs would have started to shut down as she starved. It took multiple baths to get her clean, and hours of brushing to get the matted hair out. She went to vet and began her journey to get healthy and find a perfect home. She went to puppy school and did so well, she learned how to be a dog again, her once crushed spirit was now a happy healthy dog, never to be hungry again. Rain was adopted by an amazing family, she went from 35 pounds to 80 pounds and has a now beautiful silky coat. She enjoys long walks, cuddles and playing with her sister Penny.
