Oakley’s Story

Oakley spent his short life living on a chain in the hot florida sun. He had a medical condition called hypospadias which caused his genitals to be exposed, it was a very uncomfortable condition to have and the dirt and bugs outside made it worse. He was the result of backyard breeding and because of his condition they couldn't find him a home. They never trained him and left him chained up in the dirt 24/7. When we heard of his situation we had to step in. He was brought over in the back of a truck filled with garbage. When Oakley arrived we were so relieved, we knew he was safe now and his life was about to change forever. He was severely neglected, covered in bug bites, he was underweight, and had a skin infection. He was in so much pain, but despite that, he was still such a sweet boy. He had never been inside before or had a soft bed. After multiple surgeries and a lot of TLC, Oakley was ready to find his forever home and boy did he hit the jackpot. Oakley is now a family dog, he has his own bed, and loves to cuddle on the couch with the kids. He now lives in a beautiful spacious home with amazing people and his new sister. He loves to play and run around in the yard.
